An invoice is a few lines and a Send. It goes out by email with a link where the customer pays by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and it reads as paid the moment they do.
Creating one
- 1Open Invoicing, then Invoices, and press New invoice.
- 2Pick the customer, add lines from your Catalog or type them, and set tax and the due date.
- 3Press Send now. The invoice gets its number when it is sent.
Getting paid
- The customer opens the link and pays by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Card payments need Stripe connected (see Take card payments).
- Paid another way? Mark the invoice paid from its menu and it reads as paid.
- Part paid? The invoice shows what came in and what is still owed, and the link keeps taking the rest.
Reminders, copies and mistakes
- Reminder sends a friendly nudge for an unpaid invoice.
- Download PDF for your records; Duplicate starts a new draft from this one.
- Void invoice cancels one sent in error and can open a corrected draft. A card payment already taken is refunded, not voided.
Numbering, the default delivery, payment terms and your footer line live in Invoicing, Settings.
