A proposal is a priced scope the customer accepts by signing on the link. It can carry options they pick one of, and add-ons they can tick, so one proposal covers good, better and best.
Building one
- 1Open Invoicing, then Proposals, and press New proposal.
- 2Add the lines of the base scope, then the options: each has a name and a price, and the customer picks one. Mark the one you suggest as Our pick.
- 3Add Optional add-ons the customer can tick on or off.
- 4Set Valid until, then press Send now.
Accepting
The customer opens the link, picks an option, ticks any add-ons, and presses Accept and sign. The total follows their choices, and both of you get the signed copy.
From proposal to invoice
On an accepted proposal, Convert to invoice opens an invoice draft with the chosen option and add-ons already on it. Send that when the work is done.
A proposal past its valid-until day reads as expired and can no longer be signed. Send a fresh one.
